What is MFA?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer o security tae yer G2G account. Ilka time ye sign in, ye’ll be speired tae enter a verification code. Ye can choose tae receive the code by text message or generate it through an authentication app on yer phone. Aince ye enter the code, ye’ll be securely signed in wi added peace o mind.

Settin Up MFA

1. Download and instal an authentication app
   Before settin up MFA, ye’ll need an authentication app installd on yer device. G2G MFA supports maist Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) apps. Here are some popular options:

   • iPhone: Google Authenticator, Duo Mobile, Authy, 1Password
   • Android: Google Authenticator, Duo Mobile, Authy
   • Windows Phone: Microsoft Authenticator, Duo Mobile

2. Log in tae yer G2G account, then gang tae Settings > Account.

3. Click on Security.

4. In the Multi-Factor Authentication section, click tae begin settin up.

5. Enter yer airticle and click Next.

6. Scan the QR code usin yer authentication app.
   Then, enter the 6-digit verification code generatit by the app.
   Click Activate tae finisch the process.

Deactivatin MFA

1. Log in tae yer G2G account and gang tae Settings > Account.
2. Click on Security.
3. Enter the verification code frae yer authentication app and click Deactivate.

I’m unable tae activate MFA. Whit should I dae?

• Try usin Authy for MFA settin up. It's available on baith the App Store and Google Play Store.
  Mak siccar yer device is connectit tae the internet whan ye’re usin the app.
• If ye’re usin Google Authenticator, mak siccar the date and time on yer device are sett tae "Set Automatically". Google Authenticator relies on accurate device time tae generate valid codes. Incorrect time settins may cause verification errors.
